  • Eighty-One Simmons Student-Athletes Receive GNAC Academic All-Conference Recognition

    Eighty-one Simmons student-athletes were amongst 1,274 of their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) peers to earn 2021-2022 GNAC Academic All-Conference accolades announced by the league on Tuesday morning. 
  • Mariski Earns Three-Set Win in Third Singles; Tennis Falls to Bentley

    Simmons tennis dropped an inter-division match to Bentley University, 8-1, Friday afternoon. Senior Sarah Mariski picked up the lone Sharks victory with a three set (6-2, 4-6, 10-4) win over the Falcons’ Anna Lang in third singles.

  • Tennis Opens Spring Season Against Mount Holyoke

    Simmons tennis began its spring season indoors against Mount Holyoke on Wednesday afternoon. The Lyons were able to get the best out of the Sharks with a 9-0 win, but there were solid performances from up and down the Shark lineup.

    Sophomore Olga Zhizhin and junior Leah Bonis were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference team, announced Thursday afternoon. The pair were instrumental from the top of the lineup that helped the Sharks claim the second seed with a 5-1 conference mark – their best since 2016.
