BRIGHTON, Mass. – Simmons tennis dropped an inter-division match to Bentley University, 8-1, Friday afternoon. Senior Sarah Mariski picked up the lone Sharks victory with a three set (6-2, 4-6, 10-4) win over the Falcons' Anna Lang in third singles.

Sophomore Olga Zhizhi and junior Libby Weed managed to take a game from the Falcons' second doubles tandem, Remi LeSage and Zoe Chin.

In the singles portion of the day, Mariski came out strong with a convincing 6-2 in win the first set, but Lang tied up the match with a 6-4 win in set two. But Mariski escaped with the 10-4 tie-break victory in set three to pull out the win.
