  • Williams Named 2013 GNAC Swimming Coach of the Year

    BOSTON, Mass. -- Simmons Swimming Head Coach Mindy Williams was named the 2013 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Swimming Coach of the Year announced Thursday by the conference. In just her fifth season at Simmons, this is the second time Williams has received this award from her peers.

    WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -- After three days of competition, the Simmons Sharks finished in 8th place as the swimming portion of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships concluded Sunday evening. While final team scores are not complete until after the diving competition next weekend, the Sharks are well position to remain in the top ten with 527 points.

Simmons captured the women's championship with 313 points, while the Norwich University Cadet's took home top honors in the Men's Invitational with 242.
