2018 Season: Named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference Team ... Started the first six matches of the season, before missing the final 11 matches with an injury ... Led the team with a stunning 73.7% shooting percentage, connecting for 14 goals on 19 shots, while adding four assists and ranked sixth on the team in points and goals ... Placed third on the team with 28 draw controls in addition to 16 ground balls and seven caused turnovers ... Tallied multiple points in five straight matches to open the season, including a total of five with four goals and an assist to go with three ground balls and a pair of draw controls at Saint Joseph's College (Maine) on March 20 ... Registered a career-high four caused turnovers and added seven draw controls, four ground balls, a goal and an assist vs. Salve Regina University on March 1 ... Racked up 13 points on 11 goals and two assists in a three-game span from March 8-20 ... 2017 Season: Earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference Third Team honors ... Selected to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Academic Team ... Only player in the GNAC to register at least 21 goals, 27 ground balls and 46 draw controls in league-only matches ... Led the league with a school-record 103 draw controls in all matches, while ranking ninth in assists (18), 13th in points (58) and 14th in goals (40) in all contests ... Placed 39th among NCAA Division III leaders with 5.15 draw controls per game ... Started all 20 matches and placed sixth among conference leaders with 57 ground balls and ninth with 28 caused turnovers ... Came up with a school-record 12 draw controls on April 9 vs. Regis (Mass.) and notched at least one draw control in every match ... Registered five or more draw controls in five straight matches from April 22 to May 5 ... Netted two or more goals on nine occasions, including five goals and three assists for a career-high eight points at Norwich University on April 26 ... Won 13 draws, caused seven turnovers, picked up six ground balls and netted five goals in three GNAC playoff games to earn All-Tournament honors ... 2016 Season: Named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Third Team ... Played in all 17 matches, while making 16 starts ... One of just nine players in the league to rank among the top 20 in points (45/20th), assists (16/13th), ground balls (48/11th), draw controls (43/16th) and caused turnovers (18/19th) ... Led the team in assists and ground balls, while ranking second among Sharks in points, goals (29) and draw controls ... Put together one of the best all-around seasons for Simmons with the eighth-most points, sixth-most assists, fourth-highest ground balls, fifth-highest draw controls and ninth-most caused turnovers in school history ... Placed third on the team in caused turnovers and was one of the top newcomers in the conference being named Rookie of the Week twice ... Notched at least one point in all but two matches and tallied multiple points on 12 occasions, including a season-high of eight with four goals and four assists vs. Massachusetts Maritime Academy on March 19 ...
