One of just nine players in the league to rank among the top 20 in points (45/20th), assists (16/13th), ground balls (48/11th), draw controls (43/16th) and caused turnovers (18/19th) ... Led the team in assists and ground balls, while ranking second among Sharks in points, goals (29) and draw controls ... Put together one of the best all-around seasons for Simmons with the eighth-most points, sixth-most assists, fourth-highest ground balls, fifth-highest draw controls and ninth-most caused turnovers in school history ... Placed third on the team in caused turnovers and was one of the top newcomers in the conference being named Rookie of the Week twice ...
