WINTHROP, Mass. – Simmons University's Elena Bragg (Belmont, Mass.), Mallory Cottam (Hope, R.I.) and Molly Reinhold (Mystic, Conn.) were all named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Second Team, while Missie Maiewski (Northampton, Mass.) and Lauren Williams (Bowdoinham, Maine) were selected Third Team All-Conference selections, it was announced by the league. 

The five all-conference honorees are the highest number of Simmons lacrosse student-athletes ever recognized in one season by the GNAC. 

Bragg was tabbed to the third team in each of her first two seasons as a collegian, before missing all but six games of her junior campaign with a season-ending injury. The senior came back to start all 17 matches this season and ranked 15^th among conference leaders with 15 assists while standing 17^th with 52 draw controls and 11^th in overall caused turnovers. The Belmont High School product made the move to attacker, following her injury and finished with 44 points, including 29 goals and ranked among the most accurate shooters in the league with a 54.4% mark to place 16^th in the GNAC. A Nursing major, Bragg tallied at least one point in all but two matches, including nine outings with multiple goals. She also recorded four or more draw controls on seven occasions and enjoyed a stretch where she caused at least one turnover in seven consecutive matches. 

Bragg finishes her career as the Sharks all-time leader in ground balls with 150 and draw controls with 226, while ranking sixth in points (165), goals (112), caused turnovers (64) and games played (60) as well as second in assists (53). 

Cottam earns Second Team honors after a spot on the third team last year. The senior established herself as one of the best all-around players in the conference and was one of just three GNAC players to rank among the top 18 in points (58/13^th), goals (44/12^th), assists (14/18^th) ground balls (54/7^th), draw controls (85/4^th) and caused turnovers (25/12^th). The midfielder ranked second on the team in points and goals and finished with the sixth-highest goal total in school history, while her points tally was the seventh-most. She was one of the most consistent goal scorers on the team, netting at least one goal in every match to extend a streak of 32 straight matches, dating back to the third match of the 2018 season. The Scituate High School graduate scored multiple goals in eight consecutive games to close out the season and totaled 11 multi-goal outings for the season. She also converted 10 free-position goals to place 14^th among league leaders. The Physical Therapy major showed her value in big situations, scoring a career-high seven goals, including the game-winner to lead Simmons to a come-from-behind 10-9 overtime road victory over Colby-Sawyer College in the GNAC Tournament Quarterfinals, which was three days after she netted an overtime game-winner at Norwich University on April 24. The Rhode Island native was integral in every aspect of Simmons play and matched the school mark for ground balls in a game with nine at Rivier University on April 13. It was one of six times that she picked up four or more ground balls in a game during a season that saw her register at least one ground ball in every match and a draw control in all but one match for the year. She led the team in draw controls, ground balls and caused turnovers, while ranking second, third and fifth, respectively, in school history with her totals in those categories. 

Cottam wraps up her career as the school's career games played leader with 71, while ranking sixth in points with 141, fifth in goals with 117, second in ground balls (140) and draw controls (197) and seventh with 61 caused turnovers. 

Reinhold is named to the Second Team after leading the Sharks with 66 points and 52 goals to rank 10th and seventh, respectively among conference leaders, while standing 13th with 55 draw controls and 15th with 47 ground balls. Her offensive output ranks the best in a season for a Simmons sophomore with the highest goal and point totals for a second-year player at the Fenway School. In addition, she stands third in Simmons history for all players in points and fourth in goals. Her season marks for draw controls (seventh), ground balls (ninth) and caused turnovers (10^th), also put her among the school's all-time season leaders. The sophomore also netted 11 free position markers to place 13^th in the GNAC. Reinhold scored multiple goals in all but four matches while starting all 17 games. The Robert E. Fitch High School graduate tallied a season-high six goals each in back-to-back games at Rivier University on April 13 and vs. University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) just four days later as part of a five-game string from April 3-20, where she racked up 22 goals. 

In just two seasons with the Sharks, the Exercise Science major already ranks ninth in career points (106) and goals (81), while her 107 lifetime draw controls are the fifth-most in a career that has spanned 34 games. 

Maiewski made her final collegiate season her best, earning a nod to the Third Team. She finished the season with 50 points and 33 goals to rank third on the team but really excelled in conference-only matches, ranking among the top 18 in points (14^th), goals (15^th), assists (18^th) and shooting percentage (third). The senior scored 28 of her 33 goals against GNAC opponents and upped her shooting clip to an ultra-efficient 70% in league play. Her assist total in all games places her 13^th among league foes. The attacker suffered a season-ending injury just eight games into the year last season but came back to net at least one goal in all but two games this year. She put together a five-game stretch where she netted three or more goals in every game for a total of 17 from April 10-24. The Northampton High School product enjoyed a career-best six points on four goals and two assists at Rivier an also added three ground balls. 

A Business Management and Marketing major, Maiewski finished her tenure ranking seventh in program history with 132 points, eighth with 95 goals and fifth with 62 games played. In addition, her 37 assists stand as the sixth-highest mark in school annals. 

Williams makes it four straight seasons with an All-Conference honor to become just the fourth player and only the second defender in school history to be named in all four campaigns. Her Third Team selection comes after starting all 16 matches she appeared in while ranking fourth on the team with 15 caused turnovers. The Mount Ararat High School product added 24 ground balls, a goal and an assist. The defender helped Simmons hold opponents to a 10.07 goals against average to place fifth among conference leaders as a team and was part of a defensive unit that yielded just 29 goals in a four-game span to post a 7.15 GAA from April 17-27. The senior picked up at least one ground ball in all but two matches and caused at least one turnover on nine occasions. 

The Nursing major ends her career as the Sharks all-time leader with 74 caused turnovers and 70 games started while ranking second with 70 games played. Williams also ranks sixth in career ground balls with 116.

Simmons finished the season with a 10-7 record, including 7-4 in league play to tie the program standard for overall and conference victories. The Sharks earned the fifth seed in the GNAC Championship Tournament and advanced to the semifinals, before bowing to eventual champion Johnson & Wales University on May 1.
