AMHERST, Mass. – The Simmons College women’s tennis team was defeated by No. 14 University of Mary Washington, 5-0, this morning in the First Round of the NCAA Championship Tournament on the Amherst Tennis Courts at host Amherst College in Amherst, Mass. The Sharks finish their season with a 10-9 record, while the Eagles win their fourth straight match to improve to 20-4 on the year. Mary Washington advances to play No. 8 Wesleyan University tomorrow in Amherst at 11:00 a.m.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Simmons College women's tennis team will travel to Amherst, Mass. on Friday, May 13 to take on number 14 nationally-ranked University of Mary Washington at 9:00 a.m. on Amherst Tennis Courts in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. The match will be played on the campus of Regional host Amherst College, which earned a first round bye as an at-large selection.
