MANCHESTER, N.H. – Simmons cross country competed at the Southern New Hampshire Relays on Saturday afternoon.
The Sharks appeared in five events beginning with the 200 meter run, where Macaela Stanislas and Neeva Manandhar posted times of 30.38 and 35.97, respectively. A few events later, first-year Hannah Bergeron placed 25th in the 800 meter run, clocking at time of 2:45.96.
First-year Julia Pellegrino and junior Gabby finished back-to-back times of 3:03.88 and 3:04.70, respectively, in the 800 meter, while Beth Pennington clocked a time of 3:28.07. Senior Sara Hornak was the lone Simmons runner to participate in the 5000 meter run, placing 17th with a time of 22:16.41.
The Sharks concluded the meet with the 4x200 meter relay, where the squad of Macaela Stanislas, Neeva Manandhar, Hannah Bergeron and Sara Hornak finished with a time of 2:12.46.
