Cross Country Places Third at Runnin' Monks Invitational

STANDISH, Maine – Returning to the course, Simmons cross country placed third of a six at the Runnin' Monks Invitational with a team-score of 74. The Sharks finished above the other Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) schools, who competed.

Alice Najimy placed third overall, and first amongst GNAC competitors, finishing with a time of 25:02.1 Nick Beaulieu was not far behind, crossing the finish line in 25:46.9, while Chloe O'Hara also finished 16th with a time of 26:28.6.

Sarah Cain crossed the finish line with a time of 28:16.2 to place 29th as Sarah Giuliano finished with a time of 28:44.3. Clare Thompson and Gabby Flaherty rounded out the Sharks posting times of 28:58.9 and 32:02.7, respectively.

OTHER SIMMONS RUNNERS

  • Julia DiGiacomo placed 44th with a time of 32:45.7.
  • Molly Guinivan finished with a time of 32:53.9 for 45th.
  • Kaitlyn Wyatt placed 46th with a time of 32:55.0.
