Cross Country Announces 2015-16 Recruiting Class

BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Cross Country has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin competing in the fall of 2015.

BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Cross Country has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin competing in the fall of 2015.

The Sharks will welcome six runners to the squad to vie for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship.

The following student-athletes will be lacing up for Simmons in the fall.

Sarah Colbert (Lynnfield, Mass.), who ran for Lynnfield High School.

Cheryl Cutter (East Bridgewater, Mass.), who ran for East Bridgewater High School.

Allegra Egizi (Beverly, Mass.), who ran for Nazareth Academy and transferred from Division I Seton Hall University, where she competed for the varsity squad last year.

Sophie Glading-Dilorenzo (Northampton, Mass.), who ran for Northampton High School.

Samantha Jaffe (Fayetteville, N.Y.), who ran for Jamesville DeWitt High School.

Jessica Politano (Holbrook, Mass.), who ran for Blue Hills Regional Voc Tech. School.

Simmons cross country placed third at the GNAC Championships last season and placed four runners among the top 16 finishers.
