Chao Named to 2012 GNAC All-Conference Team

BOSTON, MASS. -- Simmons cross country senior Nicole Chao (Fremont, Calif.) was named to the 2012 Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference Team for her top 10 finish at the GNAC Championship on October 27th at Rivier College announced today by the conference.

BOSTON, MASS. -- Simmons cross country senior Nicole Chao (Fremont, Calif.) was named to the 2012 Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference Team for her top 10 finish at the GNAC Championship on October 27th at Rivier College announced today by the conference.

Chao led all Sharks, finishing the 5K course in 20:46.7 for an eighth place finish. The Sharks finished third at the Championship, with strong performances by freshman Tiffany Pierce (Ballston Lake, N.Y.), Shelly Potter (York, Maine) and Bre Glynn (Marshfield, Mass.). Chao was also named to the 2012 GNAC Cross Country Sportsmanship Team.
