Sharks Sweep Top Ten at Pine Manor Invitational

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Simmons cross country ran to their second consecutive first place finish, sweeping the top ten finishes at the Pine Manor Invitational on Thursday afternoon against Pine Manor College and Wheelock College.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Simmons cross country ran to their second consecutive first place finish, sweeping the top ten finishes at the Pine Manor Invitational on Thursday afternoon against Pine Manor College and Wheelock College.

Sharks freshman Tiffany Pierce (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) took top honors, finishing in 21:07, followed by Megan Coffey (Wilmot Flat, N.H.) in 22:40, Moriah Cohen (Bennington, Vt.) in 24:07, Shannon Deady (Medway, Mass.) in 24:15 and Alicia Morales (Uxbridge, Mass.) in 24:16 to round out the top five.

The Sharks return to action on October 20th at the Wellesley College Invitational at 12:00 p.m.
