Six Sharks Named to 2014-15 ECAC NIRC Stewards All-Academic Team
June 09, 2015DANBURY, Conn. - Simmons College crew team members, Jill Bolduc (Methuen, Mass.), Rachel Corning (Ipswich, Mass.), Laura Matt (Fairfax Station, Va.), Nicole Poirier (Wayland, Mass.), Sophie Stone (Greenland, N.H.) and Eva Weber (Guilford, Conn.) were all named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference National Invitational Rowing Championship Stewards All-Academic Team, it was announced today by the ECAC. -
Bolduc, Corning, Matt Named 2015 CRCA National Scholar-Athletes
May 29, 2015BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College crew members juniors Jill Bolduc (Methuen, Mass.), Rachel Corning (Ipswich, Mass.) and senior Laura Matt (Fairfax Station, Va.) were all named National Scholar-Athletes by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for 2015.

April 26, 2015SHREWSBURY, Mass. – Simmons College crew student-athletes, Chelsea Foster (Avon, Conn.) and Ronnie Bennett (Pottstown, Pa.) were both named Second Team All-Conference by the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference in women’s rowing it was announced by the league.

Novice 4 Leads Crew at 35th Textile River Regatta
October 05, 2014LOWELL, Mass. - The Novice 4 earned a first place finish at the 35th Textile River Regatta to lead the Simmons crew team today on the Merrimac River in Lowell, Mass. The six kilometer regatta was the first of the season for the Sharks and presented by the Merrimac River Rowing Association from the Bellegarde Boathouse.
