  • Tennis Receives Academic Honors from Intercollegiate Tennis Association

    Simmons Tennis has been named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III All-Academic Team for 2008. Simmons was the only Great Northeast Athletic Conference program to earn such honors from the ITA.

    The Sharks' tennis program wrapped up another successful year this season, going 11-6 overall with a 7-2 record in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. That impressive conference record earned them a second place finish in the conference, and the second seed in the tournament. Their strong efforts this season also earned them the no. 25 ranking in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's latest poll for the Northeast Region.
