Erin Brahms (formerly Rowe) is entering her 10th season as Head Diving Coach at Simmons College. Over the past eight seasons Coach Brahms has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the diving program, and was instrumental in obtaining state-of-the-art training equipment, including a trampoline and dry board station with overhead spotting rigs in 2007.

The 2010-11 season was the most successful season for the diving team in Coach Brahms' tenure. Two school records and two pool records were broken, and Simmons secured two top-6 finishes at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Championships.

Coach Brahms was a four-year varsity athlete at Hartwick College where she held the school six-dive 1-meter record for several years. Upon graduating from Hartwick, Brahms moved to New Haven, Conn. where she assisted with a U.S. Diving age group team. Her training as an athlete and as a coach has inspired her to find new and creative ways to train and motivate her athletes.

Coach Brahms has a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University.
