BOSTON – A trio of Simmons swimming and diving student-athletes received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District recognition announced by the organization.

Senior Katelyn Quinlan, junior Camelia Hannah and sophomore Carli Quinlan were recognized as some of the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and classroom.

The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimmer of the Year, Carli Quinlan is also a finalist for CSC Academic All-America recognition and advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.

At the GNAC Championship meet, Quinlan won seven individual event titles (50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 400 free relay, 800 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay). In addition, she brought down a five-year old conference meet record in the 200 freestyle – held previously by Simmons' alum Aine Scholand – with a personal-best time of 24:49.

Senior captain Katelyn Quinlan joined her sister in receiving the honors following a successful senior season in the pool. Collecting four individual event titles and a pair of All-GNAC second team finishes, Katelyn Quinlan posted four personal-best times at the GNAC meet (500 free, 100 IM, 200 IM, 400 IM).

Junior captain Camelia Hannah rounded out the three student-athletes recognized. Hannah won the 50-yard backstroke at the GNAC Championship Meet, while helping the Sharks to two relay titles in the 200- and 400-yard medley relays.
