Stuck Captures GNAC Rookie Accolades

WINTHROP, Mass. – After posting a pair of personal-best times at the Seven Sisters Invitational, first-year Hailey Stuck secured Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honors announced Monday afternoon.

On the first day of the two-day invitational, Stuck surpassed her previous personal-best in the 50 free touching the wall with a time of 26.32. It also places her fifth amongst the Sharks top performances in the event on the season overall. The following day in the 100 free, Stuck registered a second personal-best time, clocking in with a time of 58.87 to place eighth overall. Additionally, she was part of the 400-yard free relays that placed third with a time of 3:58.18.

Simmons returns to the pool on Saturday, Jan. 22 when it hosts Mount Holyoke College for a dual meet at noon.
