BOSTON, Mass. -- Simmons Swimming and Diving received two honors this week when the Great Northeast Athletic Conference named sophomore Amy Davis Swimmer of the Week and freshman Chloe Davis Rookie of the Week for their efforts against Mount Holyoke College on Saturday, January 14th.

Amy Davis (Southbury, Conn.) won the 50 and 100 Fly, finished third in the 100 Free and anchored the winning 200 Free Relay. She led the team in scoring, picking up 21 individual points for the Sharks. Both her butterfly races were won in the last five yards.

Chloe Davis (Merrimack, N.H.) finished first in the 50 Backstroke, second in the 100 Backstroke and fourth in the 50 Fly. She was also a part of the winning 200 Free Relay and finished with 15 points for Simmons.

The Sharks return to the pool on Tuesday, January 17th at 6:00 p.m. when they host UMass Dartmouth for a non-conference match up.
