BOSTON, Mass. -- Sharks sophomore Jen Collins (Trumbull, Conn.) and freshman Chloe Davis (Merrimack, N.H.) were awarded Swimmer of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, announced Tuesday by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.

Collins went undefeated in her individual events this past week, winning the 200 free and 100 free against UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday, winning the 500 free and 100 IM against Regis on Friday, and winning the 100 free and 50 fly against St Joseph Maine on Saturday. In addition to her individual wins, she led four relays to a first place finish and bettered her own school record in the 100 free.

Davis secured wins in the 50 free and 200 Back against UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday. At Friday's meet against Regis, she finished first in the 200 Free with a season's best time. She won the 100 back against St Joseph's College and finished second in the 50 Breast by .01. Davis also raced on two winning relays this week.

The Sharks return to the pool on Wednesday, January 25th when they host Westfield State at 7:00 p.m.
