In addition to her win in the 3-Meter, Dirksmeier placed third in the 1-Meter competition. "Amanda had a very strong meet," said Diving Coach Erin Rowe. "She has been working very hard during the winter training sessions and deservedly broke the school and pool record."

Freshman sprinter Alyssa Musket (Lincoln, R.I.) won the 50 Free and the 50 Back, and finished second by a tenth of a second in the 50 Fly.  She also was a member of the winning 200 Free Relay.

"The team has been training exceptionally hard so it is not a surprise to me that they are back to where they were prior to winter break," said Head Coach Mindy Williams. "After a few days of rest, they'll come back even stronger."

The Sharks will close out their home meet schedule with Senior Day on Wednesday, January 20 at 6:00pm. Simmons will compete against the UMass Dartmouth corsairs.
