The Simmons College swimming and diving team wrapped up its dual meet season on Saturday in style by overcoming an early deficit to clinch a 154-138 win over Plymouth St. The Sharks trailed 72-56 after the first seven events and things were not looking good, but the team pulled it all together over the final nine events, to make a resounding comeback. Keri-Ann Arsenault and Brittany Torelli had big days for the Sharks.

Arsenault earned three wins, in the 500 freestyle, 1000 free and the 200 individual medley. Torelli secured the top spot in the 100 free and the 200 breaststroke. She won the 100 free by two tenths of a second, and bounced right back to swim the 200 breast just four minutes later. By this point the Sharks had completed their comeback and taken a lead they would not relinquish for the rest of the meet. Heather O'Connell also secured a win in the one meter diving competition and many others turned in their best times of the season to aid in the win.

The Sharks will now turn their attention toward the New England championships which will be held next weekend at UMass-Dartmouth.
