Soccer Drops Conference Match to Lasell

BRIGHTON, Mass. – Simmons soccer (0-4-1, 0-2-1 GNAC) fell to Lasell University (3-2-0, 2-1-0 GNAC) in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Tuesday evening.

For the early part of the first half, the two teams battled each other tough. The Sharks defense was pesky against a Laser offense that sought to gain control early. Returning at the start of the second half, the momentum remained with the Lasers as they outshot the Sharks, 12-2 in the period. Midway through the period, D'Agostino added an insurance goal in the 60th minute to put Lasell up 2-0. The Lasers went on score two more goals before build the four-goal lead and head to their third victory of the season.
