BOSTON, Mass. -- Simmons Soccer was the recipient of a 2011 NSCAA College Team Academic Award announced today by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. A total of 573 women's soccer programs, across all levels of NCAA soccer, with a team GPA greater than 3.0, were deemed eligible for the award.

The Sharks posted a team GPA of 3.45 for the fall 2011 semester and received the award for the fifth consecutive year for their outstanding academic achievement.
