Sophomore midfielder Justine Beauchamp (Exeter, N.H.) and senior defender Katie Foley (Rochester, N.H.) were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference 2010 All-Conference First Team, following the conclusion of the fall season.

"I am proud to see both Justine and Katie as first team selections," said Head Soccer Coach Erica Mastrogiacomo. "They are both major contributors to our program. Through this challenging season both of them were leaders both on and off the field."

Beauchamp led the team with 21 total points and scored seven goals and seven assists this season. She was also the only one of the Simmons Sharks to start in all 17 matches this season.

"Justine is one of the most dominant central midfielders in the conference, and her physical presence combined with her technical skill and ability to distribute the ball well makes her a force," said Mastrogiacomo.

Foley started in all 15 games that she played in during the 2010 season while struggling with injury. Despite her setbacks, she remained a team leader on the field throughout the season.

"Foley played through a knee injury all season and never once used it as an excuse. Instead she persevered through the pain and provided us with consistency and toughness in the back," said Mastrogiacomo.
