The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced Monday evening the selection of Anna Stella (Sharon, MA) as Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Stella scored the game-winner against Albertus Magnus College in overtime and netted two more goals, including another game-winner, in the 3-1 victory over Salve Regina University.

"I am excited to see Anna back in action," said Head Coach Erica Mastrogiacomo. "She is a talented player and her injury was devastating for us last season. It is no surprise that she worked tirelessly to return to the field stronger than ever for this Fall.

"Stella is a true competitor with a relentless work ethic and our team will be stronger with her out there."
