Cassandra Haase became the Simmons College Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in October of 2014.

The New Jersey native spent the last four years honing her coaching skills. She enjoyed a two-year stint with the North Fork Lacrosse Club in New York and prior to that was the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach for Esperanza High School in Anaheim, Calif. She also served as an Assisant Coach for the Pomona-Pitzer College women's lacrosse team and helped guide the Sagehens to the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship game in 2011.

Haase is no stranger to the Boston area. The former defender was a four-year starter for the Lasell College women's lacrosse squad and helped the Lasers turn in a winning season in her senior campaign. 

A resident of Newton, Mass. and a graphic designer, Haase graduated from Lasell with a degree in Fashion Design and Production and is currently pursuing a masters degree in Management, specializing in non-profit.
