Lacrosse Tabbed Second in GNAC North Division Pre-Season Poll

WINTHROP, Mass. – Simmons lacrosse was selected to finish second the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) North Division in a 2024 Pre-Season Poll announced by the league on Wednesday. 

Coming off back-to-back appearances in GNAC semifinals, the Sharks received a total of 108 points, including a pair of first place votes. Simmons looks to continue to build on its past success under first year Head Coach Bri Burke. 

The Sharks head into 2024 returning three All-Conference selections, including the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year Riley Wasiuk, while welcoming nine newcomers to the squad.   

Simmons opens the season on Wednesday, February 21 when they head to Newport, Rhode Island for a 7 p.m. tilt against Salve Regina University.
