Stoller Nets GNAC Player of the Week Accolades

WINTHROP, Mass. – Graduate student Abby Stoller was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week announced by the league Monday afternoon.

Stoller guided Simmons to a 2-0 week and helped the the Sharks remain one of the last two undefeated teams in GNAC action. Midway through the week, she eclipsed her career single-game best, scoring nine goals - converting three of four free position shot attempts in a 19-11 win over rival Emmanuel on Wednesday afternoon. Stoller closed out the week adding another six goals to go along with five draw controls, and two ground balls in a convincing 20-4 win over Anna Maria on the road.  

Simmons returns to the field on Wednesday, April 19 when they host Saint Joseph's College of Maine at 7 p.m.
