Stoller Captures GNAC Player of the Week Accolades

WINTHROP, Mass. – Graduate senior Abby Stoller was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, announced Monday afternoon.

Currently the GNAC leader with 22 goals, Stoller registered 12 goals and five assists for 17 points to lead Simmons to a 2-0 week. In convincing wins over Salem State (March 7) and Manhattanville (March 10), Stoller tied her career single-game high finding back of the net six times. Against Salem State, she registered a career single-game best nine points (6 goals, 3 assists, while tallying 10 ground balls.

Simmons returns to the field tomorrow, Tuesday March 15 when they open GNAC play against neighboring rivals Emmanuel College at 7 p.m. at Clemente Field.
