Simmons freshman Kelly Last (West Haven, Conn.) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, the GNAC announced Monday evening.

Last, who began playing lacrosse for the first time at Simmons, helped the Sharks to a 2-0 week with wins over Rivier and Daniel Webster. Last made a total of 21 saves with a 58.3% save percentage, while connecting on 98% of her clears.

"Kelly had a solid week for us between the pipes, and has been improving all season," said Head Coach Kate Leonard. "She is well-deserving of this week's honors."
