Simmons lacrosse freshman Rachel Wallace (Braintree, Mass.) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, the GNAC announced Tuesday. The honor was awarded after Wallace helped the Sharks to a 2-0 week in the conference.

Wallace scored eight goals and tallied three assists for Simmons, while accumulating 11 points. She scored on all three of her free position shots, and her five goals and one assist performance against Mount Ida on April 15 was critical to the Sharks' win.
