Simmons Lacrosse sponsored their second annual Letters to Soldiers event in the Fens on Thursday, December 10. The team provided crafts materials and postage for members of the Simmons community to send cards to troops overseas for the holidays.

The Sharks collected over thirty handmade holiday, New Years and Thank You cards to send to soldiers currently stationed in Iraq. "We have started a great tradition," said Head Coach Kate Leonard, "and the student-athletes are enthusiastic about donating their time to help make this event happen. It is a simple yet rewarding way to think about and honor those who make our Simmons experiences possible."
