Marissa Games (Newburyport, Mass.) scored five goals for Simmons, with Lee Sutherland (Tuftonboro, Mass.) tallying four. Meaghan Maurice (Portland, Maine) and Freya Damrell (Georgetown, Maine) shot three each and Heather Lowe (Woolwich, Maine) added two, while Natalie Stever (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) and Natalie West (East Bridgewater, Mass.) both picked up one each to round of the scoring.

"We didn't really play our game until the end of the second half, but the girls turned it up a notch to take away the win," said Head Coach Kate Leonard. "I was pleased with how we switched gears when it counted.

"Natalie Stever had an especially strong second half, charging to win every ball and setting up our attack. On defense, Kayla Tirrell had a huge second half as well, making several key turnovers and grabbing loose balls to help us gain possession."

Stephanie Ludwig and Elaine Rodriquez each had five goals to lead the scoring for Pine Manor.

The Sharks return to face GNAC foe Saint Joseph's of Connecticut at home on Wednesday, April 1 at 7:00pm.
