Rowing Whethers Tough Conditions to Open Spring Season

BOSTON – Simmons rowing took to the Charles River on a rainy Saturday morning against Bates College and the MIT Lightweights to open the spring 2024 season.  

The Sharks faced tough conditions for their first race of the spring. With gusty winds and strong head current, junior Olivia Murray guided the Sharks; Varsity 8 boat to a time of 8:46.8.
