Rowing Performs Strong on the Cooper River at the Dad Vail Regatta

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – For the second straight year, the Simmons rowing team participated in the annual two-day Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on the Cooper River.

On the first day, the Sharks' Varsity 8+ boat continued to show steady improvement. Amongst the six Division III teams in the field, Simmons placed fifth, crossing the finish line with a time of 7:43.904 – 30 seconds ahead of Catholic University.
