Rowing Secures Second Place Battling Tough Conditions

CRANSTON, R.I. – Back on the water for a second straight day, Simmons rowing finished second against Johnson & Wales, Franklin Pierce and Bryant on Sunday morning.

The Sharks battled tough conditions, facing crosshead winds of 10-15 mph and choppy waters, they posted a time of 10:01.25. Just three seconds back of Franklin Pierce, Simmons eclipsed Johnson & Wales by a 26 second margin.
