CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Simmons rowing returned to the Charles River on Sunday morning for a five-team race against MIT, Wellesley, Williams and MIT Lightweights.  

Competing against a tough MIT squad as well as the NEWMAC pre-season favorites, No. 1 Wellesley College, and No. 5 Williams, the Sharks held their own. Paced by coxswain Olivia Murray, Simmons posted a time of 7:59.2 in the Varsity Eight (V8+) race.
