Simmons Rowing Wraps Up Fall With Solid Sunday at Head of the Charles

BOSTON – During the 2021 Head of the Charles Regatta, the Simmons crew team and an alumnae boat raced their way down the Charles River.

On the final day of the race, Sunday afternoon, the current rowing team performed well on the water in the Women's Collegiate Eight+. The crew of Steffi Gaehde, Mackenzie Gondek, Claudia Spedding, Samantha Merrow, Madeline Hedrick, Libby Taylor, Maggie O'Byrne, Jordan Kim and Maggie Thibault, posted a time of 19:25.753.

Simmons alumnae participated in the Women's Alumnae Eights race on Saturday. Led by the coxswain Clarice Johnson '18, Hannah Dike '20, Samantha Kelsey '20, Chelsea Foster '16, Jill Bolduc '16, Peizu "Pam" Quinn '19, Elsbeth Colson '19, Kate Hale '14, and Sabrina Belozerova '20 finished 40th clocking in at 19:37.726.
