Tedeschi Secures GNAC Player of the Week After Four-Goal Game Over Clark

WINTHROP, Mass. – After a career-game against Clark University, junior forward Anna Tedeschi was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.

In a non-conference midweek contest against Clark, Tedeschi registered all four goals in the Sharks' 4-0 victory. It was Tedeschi's third hat-trick of her career – registering two last season. She scored early in the opening minutes, knocking in a loose ball to take the 1- 0 lead.

Tedeschi added to the lead scoring at the start of the third quarter after receiving a pass from fellow junior Sydney Gonyea. Then in the final quarter of game knocked in her third in fourth goals of the game.  

Simmons returns to the field tonight when they host New England College at 5 p.m.
