Field Hockey Announces 2015-16 Recruiting Class

BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Field Hockey has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin play in the fall of 2015.

BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Field Hockey has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin play in the fall of 2015.

The Sharks will welcome six players to the squad to defend their Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship.

The following student-athletes will be suiting up for Simmons in the fall.

Allison Bubar (Lisbon Falls, Maine), who played for Lisbon High School.

Meghan Fontaine (Westminster, Mass.), who played for Oakmont Regional High School.

Analise Giarrusso (Hingham, Mass.), who played for Hingham High School.

Moira Morgan (Harvard, Mass.), who played for The Bromfield School.

Sarah Douglas (Woodstock, Conn.), who played for Woodstock Academy.

Marissa Maiewski (Leeds, Mass.), who played for Northampton High School. 

Simmons Field Hockey finished the season with a 13-6 mark, while winning the GNAC crown for the first conference championship in program history and earning an NCAA Tournament berth. The Sharks boasted an All-Region honoree as well as the GNAC Coach of the Year, Rookie of the Year and five All-Conference First Team selections.
