March 21, 2016CHANDLER, Ariz. - The Simmons College field hockey team earned the 2015 ZAG Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Collegiate National Academic Team Award it was announced by the NFHCA. The honor marks the 15th straight year that the Sharks have earned the honor.

Field Hockey Edged by SUNY New Paltz, 1-0, in NCAA First Round
November 11, 2015NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The Simmons College field hockey team was defeated by host State University of New York at New Paltz, 1-0, in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament this afternoon at North Turf Field in New Paltz, N.Y. The Sharks finish their season with a 14-5 record, while the Hawks improve to 16-5 and advance to face Messiah College on Saturday, November 14 in a second round match that will be played at regional host The College of New Jersey in Ewing Township, N.J.

Saltamartini Named ECAC New England Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
November 11, 2015DANBURY, Conn. - Simmons College field hockey player, Julie Saltamartini (East Hampstead, N.H.) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of November 2-8, it was announced by the ECAC today. It's the second time this season that she has earned a Player of the Week accolade. Saltamartini was also named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of August 31 to September 6.
