WINTHROP, Mass. – First-year swimmer Kenzie Lowry was tabbed as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the second time this season announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

Lowry record a trio of top collegiate times on Saturday in a dough double dual meet against Wellesley College and Merrimack College. In the 50-yard freestyle, she clipped two tenths of a second off her previous best, finishing fourth with a time of 26.39. Then in the 100-yard free, Lowry cut another two seconds from her past time, touching the wall in 57.81. Additionally, Lowry was one of two swimmers to finish in the top five of the 200-yard free, clocking in with a top time of 2:09.80.  

Simmons returns to the pool on Saturday, November 11 when they host a double dual meet with the University of New England and Colby-Sawyer College.
