WINTHROP, Mass. – Simmons swimming and diving was chosen to finish first along in the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pre-Championship Coaches Poll announced Thursday. The Sharks received a total of 57 points, including three first place votes.
Seeking their 19th conference crown, the Sharks will be led by four-time GNAC Rookie of the Week Carli Quinlan and distance swimmer senior Eva Piernas. Norwich University also tied Simmons with 57 points, including four votes for first place. Colby-Sawyer College received final first place vote earning a total of 53 points.
