WINTHROP, Mass. – Junior Meg Driscoll was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, announced Monday afternoon.

Driscoll posted a personal-best and season-top time in the 200-yard breaststroke in Saturday's inter-division dual meet with Merrimack College. Driscoll touched the wall with a time of 2:38.84, clipping one second off her previous top time (2:39.27) to finish first in the event. She also swam the second leg of Simmons' 400 medley relay A squad that finished with a time of 4:27.12.

Simmons returns to the pool after the Thanksgiving Break with the three-day MIT Invitational beginning on Friday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
