    WORCESTER, Mass. -- Simmons Crew tied for third place in their first New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Championship held Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond. The Sharks finished second in the 2V Eight in 7:02.56, while the Novice Eight finished third in 7:34.70.

    BABSON PARK, Mass. – Sunday marks the beginning of a new era for the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) as, for the first time since 2002, seven teams will compete for the women’s rowing championship. With the addition of Simmons College as an associate member, the league will soon be eligible for an automatic qualification to the NCAA championship.

    BOSTON, Mass. -- The 2012 Seven Sisters Regatta was held in Boston, Massachusetts Saturday morning by host Simmons College at the Riverside Boat Club on the Charles River. The Wellesley College Blue took home top honors with 34 points for the second year in a row, followed by a tie for second place between Mount Holyoke College and Simmons College with 28 points apiece, Smith College in fourth place with 24 points and Bryn Mawr College in fifth place with nine points.
