WESTWOOD, Mass. – Senior Samantha Brumbaugh and sophomores Sarah Cournoyer and Leah Ruddy were named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

Brumbaugh, Cournoyer and Ruddy were three of 103 student-athletes form all seven NEWMAC rowing programs to receive academic all-conference recognition. This past weekend the trio helped Simmons to a time of 8:17.49 at the NEWMAC Championship race.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2023 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
