LOWELL, Mass. – Simmons rowing returned to the water competing in the Textile River Regatta on Sunday afternoon. The Sharks featured two boats on the Merrimack River – one in the Women's Open 4+ and one in the Women's Open 8+. 

Paced by sophomore Olivia Murray, the Sharks finished third of eight in the Women's Open 4+, while cutting nearly three minutes of their time from last week. Finishing with a time of 18:37.337, the Sharks finished just 10 seconds ahead of Endicott College's first boat.  

Later in the day in the Women's Open 8+, Simmons also posted another third placed finish, crossing the finish line with a time of 18:08.682.
