WESTWOOD, Mass. – Senior Steffi Gaehde was named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Sportsmanship Team announced Tuesday morning.

Over the course of the 2021-22 season, Gaehde was a staple in the Sharks Varsity 8 lineup, competing in eight of 10 events. At the beginning of the season, they led Simmons to a first-place finish at the Textile River Regatta with time of 18:09.01. Later in the year, Gaehde helped the Sharks claim second place in a four-team race against Franklin Pierce, Johnson & Wales and Bryant before concluding the year with appearance in the Grand Final at the Dad Vail Regatta.
