The honor marks the second time this season that the Sharks have had a player earn both awards. Senior forward Greer Gilbert (Falmouth, Mass.) was tabbed for the week of September 7-13.

Gammon tallied three goals, including a pair of game-winners in two matches for Simmons. The forward netted a goal in an 8-0 victory over visiting Mount Ida College on September 30 and capped the week by netting a career-high two markers to ignite the Sharks in a 4-0 victory over host Rivier University on October 3.

The sophomore currently leads Simmons with five goals, which ranks her eighth among GNAC leaders. She also has an assist on the year to give her 11 points to place 13th in the league. A graduate of Hollis-Brookline High School, Gammon has started all 11 matches this season and her three game-winning scores tie her for tops among conference leaders.
