Rowing Performs Well in Tough Conditions to Open Spring 2023 Season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass – Simmons rowing kicked off its 2023 spring season with the Charles River Racing Series along the Charles River on Saturday morning.

Led by first-year coxswain Sarah Cournoyer, the Sharks' collegiate Varsity 8+ boat posted a solid time of 8:28.4. Competing in tough rainy, cool conditions, the Simmons finished just 22 second behind Bates' fourth boat.
