Rowing Begins 2022-23 Campaign With Head of the Kurmakov

BOSTON – Simmons rowing returned to the waters for the start of the 2022-23 year with the Head of the Kurmakov on Sunday morning. 

Named in recognition of the late Simmons Head Rowing Coach Nikolay Kurmakov, the Sharks lone Collegiate 4+ boat. Led by first-year coxswain Nora Foglia, the crew of graduate senior Emma Jones, senior Samantha Merrow, junior Dalila Marzialo and first-year Julia Comfort posted a time of 22:03.2.

UP NEXT
 Simmons returns to the water on Sunday, October 2 when they travel north to Lowell, Massachusetts for the Textile River Regatta.
